On behalf of each member of the Southeast Georgia Health System family, I am pleased to welcome you to our Web site.
Since 1888, the Team Members of Southeast Georgia Health System have cared for families in beautiful coastal Southeast Georgia. While we are proud of our heritage, we are more proud that so many of you have trusted us for your and your loved ones’ health care needs. We take that responsibility seriously and continue to strive to offer affordable quality health care to all of our guests.
During your visit to our site, I hope you notice the changes that we have made to the Health System over the last few years – changes that led to Southeast Georgia Health System being named “Hospital of the Year” for 2004 in the large hospital category (151 beds or more) by the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals http://www.gach.org/. In 2006, we opened our state-of-the-art Outpatient Care Center, obtained the Senior Care Center-St. Marys, and upgraded the exterior of the Brunswick Campus. We have also recently completed an extensive expansion of our Camden Campus and a major upgrade of the interior of the Brunswick Campus. We are currently expanding and renovating our Miriam and Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center. Additionally, we expanded our services in 2007 with the opening of our Outpatient Rehabilitation and Wound Care Center and again in 2008 when we acquired our Senior Care Center-Brunswick and opened our Heartburn Care Center . These projects are just some examples of our commitment to providing Quality Health Care, Close to Home.
